One a day.
Know it first.
We read the new papers, code, models and official releases as they appear, and each day send you the one technology breakthrough that matters: a cover, the key number, a few short paragraphs, every claim linked to its source. Nothing to sort, nothing to scroll.

The latest issue, as members got it.
Straight from the source. Nothing in between.
We read the sources themselves: arXiv, proceedings, release pages and researchers’ own posts. Every issue shows when its source went up and when it reached you.
A breaking alert: the weights and paper went up at 13:29. At 14:07 it was on members’ lock screens. Sample
Time from source = when it reached you minus when the source went up. The times and spans above are illustrative. Sample data
Hundreds of new things a day. You get one.
Every day we go through new papers, code repositories, model cards, official releases and authors’ own posts. Events, rehashes, tutorials and hype are dropped. What’s left is ranked by how much the advance matters and whether it’s catching on, the strongest few are compared side by side, and one is kept. No feed to scroll, nothing for you to pick through.

One issue a day.
Every issue gets a cover we design ourselves, with the one number that matters set large. You get it at a glance.
These are samples: every issue except Jev is fictional, and the issue numbers and dates are illustrative. Sample
One cover. One number.
A few short paragraphs. Every source.
A cover, not a wall of text
Jev returns calibrated judgments, not text
One number, and who said it
The line on your lock screen says it all
A few short paragraphs, read straight through
TypeSafe AI released Jev, a model that skips text generation and returns structured judgments, each with a calibrated probability.
Most production LLM calls are really decisions, so a model built only for decisions could make them cheaper and easier to audit. To try it, run it on your own classification or triage data and check the calibration, not just the accuracy.
First-hand sources only, every one linked
What we cross out matters as much as what we send.

However big the story, if it’s an event, it isn’t sent. What’s left: new methods, new models, new tools, new results.

You might be wondering
What counts as a breakthrough?
A new method, model, tool or result you could read, run or build on. Company announcements don’t count.
When can I start?
Now. Start your free week on the web, or install the app from the App Store. Your 7 free days start the day you sign up.
When will it reach me?
The moment it’s ready, with no fixed hour: at least one issue every day, now and then a breaking alert too. If it lands during your quiet hours (23:00–07:00 by default, or switched off), it waits silently and nudges you when they end. Open the app any time and it’s there.
How is “time from source” measured?
Every issue records when its source went up and when it reached you, and shows both. Issues go out as soon as they’re picked, so the gap is mostly the time it takes us to read, pick and write; if it lands in your quiet hours, the wait until they end is added.
How is the one issue picked?
Each day we read new papers, code, model cards and official releases, drop events, rehashes and tutorials, rank the rest by how much the advance matters and whether it’s catching on, compare the strongest few, and keep one. AI helps with the sorting and drafting, and every claim links to its source so you can check it yourself.
Why only computing?
Computing moves fastest and its sources are the most open: papers, code and models are public, so we can go straight to them. Other fields may follow.
Can I pay in the iPhone app?
Yes, once it opens, through Apple. The student price is web-only, with checkout handled by Paddle.
How do I cancel?
Any time. Cancel during the free week and you pay nothing.
Is this investment advice?
No. We cover technology and never name stocks.
