One a day,
and the rules behind it.
Techyon sends one thing a day. These are the rules behind that one thing, and they don’t bend for a big story.
-
01
Technology only.
We send what you could read, run or build on: a new method, model, system, tool, dataset or result.
Events around technology are never sent, however big: funding rounds, acquisitions, lawsuits, hires and departures, breaches and thefts, stock moves.
ExampleA lab raises $2BA lab open-sources a 7B model and its training code -
02
First-hand sources, with the link.
We read the paper, the code, the model card, the official release or the author’s own post, never someone else’s write-up. Every issue links to the original, so you can check us.

03
The notification says it.
The line on your lock screen carries the key information: what it is, the number that matters, and who says so. If you read only that line, you still know what happened.
From Vol. 1, as sentDeepSeek V4.1-Flash-1017: 42.3 on Terminal-Bench 4.0 vs 31.2 before, DeepSeek reports; MIT-licensed weights -
04
Every number says who said it.
Benchmark figures are usually the authors’ own. We say so, as in “the authors report” or “not independently verified”, and never round a claim into a fact.
-
05
One a day, never a feed.
You get one issue a day, the same for everyone. We go through the hundreds of other items so you don’t have to: no feed to scroll, no list to sort, no “more stories” at the bottom. Breaking alerts are the only exception, and they’re rare.
Each issue is written with AI assistance straight from the first-hand sources, and every claim links back to them, so you can check any line.
-
06
Time from source, measured honestly.
We record when the source first went up and when the issue reached you, and show both. Every issue goes out as soon as it’s picked, so the span is mostly the time it takes us to read, pick and write; if it lands in your quiet hours, the wait until they end is added.
We don’t claim to beat anyone. We measure our distance from the source.
-
07
Corrections, in the open.
When we get something wrong, we fix it in the issue and add a dated note saying what changed. We don’t edit quietly.
-
08
No investment advice.
We cover technology, not markets. We never name stocks or tell you what to buy.
If you think we broke one of these, tell us.
